ABOUT MIT-WPU SCHOOL OF GOVERNMENT

MIT-SOG was initiated in the year 2005 as a part of MAEER's MIT Group of Institutions, Pune (now MIT World Peace University), a highly acclaimed name in the field of education since 1983, founded by Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad. The group consists of educational institutions right from Primary Education to Post Graduate Programs in varied field like- Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Management, Information Technology, Foreign Languages and so on. MITSOG was conceptualized Shri. Rahul V. Karad, the Executive President of MIT World Peace University, Pune with a vision of creating Ethical, Spirited and Committed Political Leadership for the country from the grassroots and from all walks of life.

It offers a two year Post Graduate degree program in Political Leadership & Government, MPG. The program comprises of One-year on campus learning and One-year off campus training.
